“Would You Rather”
Best known for its wacky options of which would you rather, “would you rather” is a popular game amongst our staff. Playing is easy. Start with the oldest person and ask the question “would you rather…” and provide two wacky options. We use a fun example around the shop: “would you rather replace an engine or do 100 oil changes?” You can use one less, auto-repair-ish, and ask something along the lines of “would you rather be a bee for the day or a lizard for the night?” This question can be for all members in the vehicle, or each can take turns asking and answering questions. With this fun road trip game, get as crazy, silly, and goofy as you want.
“In My Suitcase”
This road trip game is a special gem in the vault of road trip games. This is a fun group game, meaning you have to work as a team to win. The first player starts by saying, “In my suitcase, I decided to bring…….” Finishing the sentence with an item that begins with the letter A. Going clockwise or counterclockwise, the next player will state, “In my suitcase, I decided to bring…..” and finish the sentence with the previous item, then add an object starting with the letter B. Keep going through the alphabet and see how far the group can get before someone messes up. We use tools in our toolboxes at the shop instead of items in a suitcase.
“Name That Animal”
Another great game involving the alphabet that the whole family can enjoy is “Name That Animal”. This game is super fun and easy to play. Starting with the letter A, work as a team to name as many animals whose name begins with an A. Try to name as many animals as you can before moving on to the next letter. Move through the alphabet until you reach your destination, whichever comes first.
